Conservation
and Biodiversity
AT OUR VINEYARD
In order to achieve an efficient use of our resources and respect the environment, we implement a series of sustainable practices, such as:
- Increased water use efficiency by means of moisture probes and moisture measurement through stomatal pressure of grapevine leaves.
- Control of pests, diseases and weeds using the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategy.
- Control of pests, diseases and weeds using the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategy.
- Biodiversity contribution to the environment: In our Los Olivos dam, in addition to native flora such as lavender, roses and gauras, among others, there are wild geese and ducks that cohabit with other typical bird species such as queltehues, owls and kestrels.
- Soil work with organic material.
- Own compost generated from waste from the winery, restaurant and organic waste from the fauna that inhabits the property, which is applied directly to the soil of the vineyards, providing organic matter and nutrients.
- To combat powdery mildew, applications in the vineyard are mainly of sulfur, which is organic and harmless.
