Chardonnay

Casablanca Valley

This coastal Chardonnay comes from the "Bandera" and "Bodega Poniente" blocks of sandy soils and loam base. With a high exposition to the evening sun, they constantly receive breezes from the Pacific Ocean.

Aged in concrete eggs, it is fruity, expressive and mineral, with citrus notes of orange peel. Pungent, linear and vibrant acidity.

PAIRING

It is recommended to be served with eggs benedict, fine, rich fish or even steak béarnaise. Savory shellfish (lobster, shrimp, crab, scallops) matches perfectly. “Spaghetti al limone (lemon)” with parsley it’s my recommended pairing. Goat feta cheese with yogurt, roasted carrots, orange, honey. Burrata with roasted pumpkin, caramelized walnuts and prosciutto.

AGING

Enjoy now. Ideally consume on the year of harvest.

TASTING NOTES

You can pick mandarin and orange peel notes on the nose. High acidic sensation combined with a rich texture from lees aging, are the main tactile sensations in the palate.
