Syrah Gran Reserva 2020 Valle de Casablanca - Box 6 bottles Vineyard: This Syrah has been highlighted and awarded in major competitions and magazines both nationally and internationally. It stands out for being a fresh red wine, with intense aromas and an elegant palate. The grapes are selected during the harvest and later in the winery through selection tables. They then undergo a 2-day cold pre-fermentation maceration and the must is inoculated with yeast and selected bacteria. The aging stage is 12 months in French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTE

Blackberries and blueberries with black pepper notes on the nose. Black olives and meaty notes combine with tertiary aromas of tar and toffee. Full-bodied, with structure and freshness. Vibrant, upright acidity is the most distinctive characteristic of this great cool-climate Syrah. Soft tannins with a long, clean finish. Will reward careful cellaring.

PAIRING

Fatty meats such as lamb ribs or lamb shank, accompanied with roasted potatoes with rosemary and pepper.
